Screen printing on my own!
With the bit of knowledge from the class and thank heavens for YouTube I was able to figure out a few more supplies I needed to get started in the studio.
I stretched a screen – and wow! I love it. I just like to gently thump the screen to hear the sound it makes.
I buy most of my dyeing supplies from www.dharmatrading.com and of course they have plenty of other fabric surface products too, so screen printing supplies were too easy to acquire. And I stuck with Speedball and Dharma products and might experiment later with other brands.
I’m trying the drawing fluid and screen filler first. The patience of waiting for liquids to dry without rushing it with the hair dryer was a tad bit hard. ;-) And then . . .I printed!
